I’m still learning about Whisky. I’ve sampled cheap blended whisky. Then tried 10,12,14 year old single malts. But sampling a 25 year old whisky 🥃 I’m getting it. So, so smooth. Such a lasting taste and satisfying experience

Great colour but only a gentle aroma. Given the cask strength I added a few drops of water and whisky stones to give a really deep and complex flavour.

Whisky was sharp and harsh when drank neat.
When added ice it has mellowed down.
But the harshness was overpowering any other notes in this bouquet.
